New job, new work
About six months ago, I pivoted from mostly higher ed and nonprofit to public K-12 education. I had no idea what to expect, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. It’s been great to communicate—even if only in a small way—with families on their child’s educational journey.
Sublogo Purgatory
I love logo design, though I don’t often get to create brand-new marks from scratch. I’m a long-time in-houser, which means I’ve worked on lots of sublogos. Sublogos are an exercise in creativity within restraint: find a creative way to elevate a portion of the brand while not straying too far from the brand identity itself.
