About Me
I’m a mission-driven Art Director/Designer with 25 years of experience, mainly in higher education and nonprofits, passionate about making a positive impact through visual storytelling. My journey spans art direction, branding, design, marketing strategy, and photography.
Alongside my creative work, I’ve taught design and developed a student design internship program. I’ve written and edited for a publication, served on event planning teams, and collaborated on brand launches.
After recently being riffed, I am actively seeking creative leadership and/or lead design opportunities. I am open to full-time and freelance, remote or in-person, and open to relocation.
I currently live in the outer reaches of the DC Metro area—in Martinsburg, WV—with my wife, our two great teenagers, three cats of varying levels of annoyance, and a wild-but-fun husky. Outside of my creative life, you can often find me hanging with family, watching movies, enjoying music and concerts, and watching the (struggling again) Washington Commanders.
